TRANSFORMING YOUR RUN EXPERIENCE
This year, the CSC Run by the Bay transforms your race experience, introducing a brand-new concept to the running scene in Singapore.
Run at your preferred time. Designated route, start and finish locations and a tracker app guarantee safe and scenic journey, and fair competition.

The iconic route takes you on a journey along the Marina Reservoir, celebrating the success of Singapore’s water story with every step.

5 EASY STEPS TO RUN

1. REGISTER

Select your run distance and category, complete the form, proceed to payment and you are in.

2. RECEIVE

Before the race, you will receive an event shirt or singlet and hydration belt (unless you opted-out).
The hydration belt allows you to be self-sufficient during your run, as drink stations are not provided as part of the COVID-19 measures. 

3. DOWNLOAD

Download the event app to help you track and record your run. (The app will be available closer to event date.) You may also record your run with your own tracker device and upload your data post-run. 

4. RUN & RECORD

Run between Friday 9 October and Sunday 18 October, 2359 hours. Follow the COVID-19 recommendations and don’t forget to activate your tracker before you commence your run. As soon as you cross the finish marker the app will stop the clock and record your run time. 

5. ACHIEVE

Congratulations. You have completed your run, the finisher medal and E-certificate are deservedly yours.

DISTANCE & COURSE

Runners must start their run not earlier than Friday 9 October and complete it (i.e. provide the run data) not later than Sunday 18 October, 2359 hours.

12.9km

  • Run in an anti-clockwise direction starting from the Promontory
  • Complete a full lap around Marina Reservoir (first running past Marina Bay Sands, then Marina Barrage, Gardens by the Bay East, Sports Hub, F1 Track, Singapore Flyer, Esplanade and then to the finish line).
  • Run on walking paths and park connectors, not roads.

5.6km

  • Run in an anti-clockwise direction starting from the Promontory
  • Run first past Marina Bay Sands to Marina Barrage where you do a U-turn and run back to cross Helix Bridge, then past the Float and Esplanade to the finish
  • Running on walking paths, not roads

START AND FINISH VENUE

The race start and finish is located at The Promontory at Marina Bay.

SAFE DISTANCING MEASURES

See our processes and guidelines to ensure everyone’s safety, and to comply with Singapore Government regulations.

  • Your race pack will be posted
  • You must scan the Safe Entry and Exit QR code when arriving and departing from the venue for contract tracing purposes
  • You must wear a face mask prior to, and immediately after your run
  • You are not allowed to bring any spectators with you to the race venue
  • You must comply with any public health and/or safety directions of Organising staff; ambassadors; police; or government or health authorities during your race
  • When running or at the start/finish areas you must stay 2 metres away from other runners and pedestrians
  • Ambassadors will give out finisher medals during specific times, but if you run at a different time we will post your medal to you
  • Please don’t hug or shake hands with any other runners (even if you set a PB!)

Please also adhere to the general Covid-19 guidelines:

  • If you feel unwell (i.e. fever, cough) please stay at home and not participate in the race.
  • If someone in your household has tested positive for the virus, please stay at home for a period of 14 days.
  • Maintain good personal hygiene by regularly washing hands using soap and water or alcohol-based (at least 65–70%) hand sanitiser for 20 seconds.
  • If you are over 65 years old, or have a health condition please take greater preventive measures.

FIRST-TIMER’S GUIDE

A big welcome to all newcomers to the wonderful sport of running. It’s a strange time in the world at the moment, but running will keep you energised and feeling positive. Whilst we won’t be seeing you personally at this year’s race, we do hope you enjoy your hybrid running experience with us, and that it fosters a lifetime of exhilaration.

Running can all seem a little overwhelming to begin with, there is new kit to wear, shoes to choose, and funny things called gels to consume. Let us help guide you so you have just what you need for a successful first hybrid race!

GETTING TO THE VENUE

By MRT

The nearest MRT station to the start line at The Promontory is Downtown (DT17) on the Downtown line – Exit B.

Other stations nearby:

Raffles Place MRT station (NS26/EW14) on the East/West and North/South lines. Approx 6 min walk to The Promontory. 

Bayfront MRT station (CE1/DT16) on the Downtown and Circle lines. Approx 10 min walk to The Promontory.

By Bus
